I really try to use an app. To get the most out of it and to learn it before leaving a review, especially if I paid 2.99 which is costly compared to the other apps I have puchased (about 120 of them). This app does NOT work as advertised. It is unable to distinguish a well defined wall from the furniture in the room and everything ends up 1 color!!!

First of all, spend a little time with each photo using the various selection tools...youll get a much better image. Also, speaking as a graphics professional, I can understand why the color selection tools might be confusing for some, but it really is the best way to manipulate color in this app. Some suggestions to make this a 5 star app: 1. Ability to save "works in progress" so you can continue editing or changing colors later 2. Be able to add color values numerically (for those color geeks like me out there) Suggestions to make this the "killer" 5 star app: 1. Add database of paint manufacturer colors 2. Add Pantone colors 3. Add basic image editing controls like brightness/contrast (for cleaning up image before changing colors - we all know the iPhone camera isnt the best...)

This is the aspect I was looking for in a painting app. I like the selection tool so I can edit my anime pics with that much more ease. The only thing I wish it did had was a way for me to erase a selection if I went over the edges when Im in not in the magic selection tool. Other than that, its really kick-@ss

Doesnt work the way it does.

Works great if ya know what your doing. Takes some playing around with but fun for changing eye colors and that sort of thing.

This thing is so nice, you can see what different colors would look like in a room! Key is to use the zoom with the toolset. Hope the next release has step by step undo.

Colors were distorted and could never get any appealing colors.

This app I horrible. You cant select white, off white or black as the color you want to paint with. I bought the app to "paint" a brick wall white. With no white "paint" option it was a waste!

The botten not working properly and not moving together with the finger

Love this app! Once you get used to the sliders (tip: tap dont slide), saving and loading other angles to apply same color let me see the entire room. Then I took my selection to paint store and presto! My dull room now looks like a million bucks. GREAT APP. Thank you Colorchange.

Worst app ever. Not worth the $2.99 I paid. Not even worth $0.99!

I updated to the new version and now, after an initial problem opening, it has begun working. It is a great app for trying to decide wall colors in your house or apartment. I do wish the slide control for color choice was a bit easier for people with large fingers and had a wider range of colors in the yellow range. But thisapp does havea lot of potential to really be useful to an interior decorator or just someone wanting to repaint inside or out. I would like to see better documentation on how to use the app features to their full advantage. Please keep improving this product. I would gladly pay for an app with a bit more sophisticated user interface and documentation.

This app does not produce results shown in The screen shots!! All this app can do is adjust the hue, saturation, and contrast of a picture u take. Dont waste ur money- MISLEADING RESULTS!!!

Exactly what I was looking for, I have a iPhone 4s and didnt have any problems with the app, and I find it hard to believe that anyone can think that the app is difficult to use…

MS Paint in Windows 97 (if anyone can still remember) would have done a similar job. Not good and misleading pictures in the app store.

This app should be free, not happy at all with what it does, might work for small projects, but trying to use it to determine what colors to paint interior walls, does not work.

All the reviews about this product are correct. I should have listened. Its not worth paying for.
